Nature and Aims


 Holy Cross College aims at the training of women to be leaders in all walks of life and to serve their fellowmen in justice, truth and love. Alumni Association collaborates towards this great venture effectively preparing the students to become socially conscious women. Over the years, the College has produced alumni to achieve their goals with character, personality, intellect and great value for the positioning of the Alma mater as a prestigious educational institution. Alumnae are the intangible assets of an institution .Alumnae are the epitome for the current students to offer practical support to them to face the current challenges of competitive professional world as they start their careers. Holy Cross College Alumni Association has been established to foster, renew and promote activities which have as their purpose the enrichment of both the lives of its members and the students. Alumni Association collaborates towards this great venture effectively preparing the students to become socially conscious women. It provides an excellent platform for networking of the entire distinguished alumnus. Further, it will foster an atmosphere of intellectual vigour and moral rectitude in which the women of our Country may find their fulfillment and achieve greatness as eminent women of service.


 Annual Alumni Meet attracts attendance of a large number of alumni, distinguished faculty and guests from all parts of the country as well as abroad. It organizes an annual get together at the College every year on the second Saturday of August and who have been successful in various walks of life are feted. The executive committee members are elected annually and is responsible for the functioning of the association. A glittering galaxy of alumnae come together enthusiastically with cherishing memories to intensify a strong bond with its Alma Matar. The alumini make a considerable impact on the betterment and excellence of the college. Holy Cross College Alumni Association collaborates towards this great venture effectively preparing the students to become socially conscious women. Efforts have been made to bring all the past students of the various departments under one banner.


 The activities of the Association have been quite noteworthy in the context of academic excellence of the institution. Alumnae have active participation in syllabus framing as BOS members. The alumnae are invited to deliver guest lectures , endowment lectures and also as the resource persons for workshops and seminars. They also share their professional experience and motivate the students. The alumnae actively participate as judges in competitions organized at the institute. To interact and communicate with all alumnae in a more convenient and consistent manner an open online forum was created , that include what our proceed alumnae do with their lives and define the stature of an institute. As many of our alumnae are well placed in software industries and well-reputed educational institutions, they have their active participation in administrative and academic bodies of our college . The Alumnae association had involved in digitalizing the profile of all the alumni to create virtual database so as to facilitate the fellowship among alumni and between alumni and the College. We seek your support to carry forward the mission of the College.
