History

       The Holy Cross Innovation and Incubation Centre (HCIIC)was born as a separate entity in the Holy Cross College Campus on 28.08.2021 under Association of Persons (AOP) and simultaneously it was also registered under Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) on 23-09-2021. The motto of HCIIC is to make the Faculty, Staff and Students of the college to become world class competent in terms of Entrepreneurship, Prototype, Patent and Startup. This venture is an outcome of the determination of Dr.S.Sahayaselvi. She became the President of this project, along with Dr.P.Leema Rose, the Vice President ,Dr.S.Sebastiammal, the Treasurer, Dr.A.Shyla Suganthi, the Secretary, K.Francy, the Joint Secretary, Dr.A.Anami Augustus Arul and Sr.Shanthi the governing body members.

On 22-07-2022, HCIIC was registered under Society Act 1975. Dr. Sr. Mary M. Mary Gilda Mathias is the President followed by Dr.Sr.S.Sahayaselvi, the Vice President, Dr.Sr.S.Sebastiammal, the Treasurer, Dr.A.ShylaSuganthi, the Secretary, Sr.K.Francy, the Joint Secretary, Dr.Sr.P.Leema Rose, Dr.Sr. M.S.Ruba, Dr.Sr.S.Anne Perpet Sophy, Dr.Sr.S. Antin Mary, Dr.A.Anami Augustus Arul, Dr.Sheeba Daniel, Sr.A.Shanthi, and Sr.A.Selva Asha, the Executive Committee Members.

As of 5.12.2023 Sr. Fatima Kattar is the Society’s President, followed by Dr. Sr. Sahayaselvi, the Vice President, Dr. Sr. Sebastianammal, the Treasurer, Dr. K. Francy, the Secretary, and Dr. Sheeba Daniel, the Joint Secretary. The Executive Committee is composed of Sr. M. Mary Gilda Mathias, Dr.Sr. Leema Rose, Dr.Sr. M.S. Ruba,Dr. Jeni Chandar Padua, Sr.S. Antin Mary, Dr. A. Anami Augustus Arul, Sr. A. Shanthi, and Sr.A.Selva Asha.

The HCIIC offers Certificate Course and Value-added Courses in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship. It supports Institution’s and Innovation Council (IIC) to organize seminar or workshop series. Currently it incubates 100 start-steps and the faculty are in the verge of filing for patents.
